Monofil No. 40 is transparent sewing thread of exceptional high tensile strength, perfect for a variety of applications, including machine quilting and hemming. Ideal for fine to medium weight fabrics and as an invisible bobbin thread when you don’t want the thread to be seen.

Monofil No. 40 works well on all home sewing and embroidery machines. For best results we recommend the use of the MADEIRA Universal sewing needle #80/12 and the MADEIRA sewing thread Aerofil No. 120 as underthread.
