MADEIRA Wash-Away Stabilizers

Wash-aways are water soluble, transparent stabilizers which make a great  embroidery  backing or topping.  Designed to stabilize delicate, washable fabrics and high pile fabrics such as terry cloth. Wash-aways can be easily hooped and used under or over the fabric to support open stitches, cut-work or button holes.  Stretchable and delicate fabrics will no longer lose their shape as you sew or embroider on them. Use for free-hand embroidery, lace or any project that requires the complete removal of the stabilizer.

Wash- aways completely dissolve in cold or warm water, without leaving a sticky residue or stiff fabric

Water-soluble transparent,clear stabilizer. Ideal for looped and knitted fabrics and just perfect for silk, velvet, organza and net lace. Does not add extra thickness or bulk to the fabric as it washes away completely.

Extremely firm and stable water-soluble, transparent and clear stabilizer. Allows the most detailed embroidery without tearing. For larger embroidery projects that do not fit into an embroidery frame due to their size.

Firm water-soluble wash away stabilizer with the strength of a non-woven. It can be embroidered intensely without tearing and is perfect for machine embroidery on light, delicate fabrics, such as silk, organza and net lace. Ideal for lace making, monogramming, cut-work and quilting.
