Introducing the first natural wool embroidery thread for use on the machine - adding dimension, texture and warmth to your embroidery and quilting projects.

Lana No. 12 is a speciality embroidery thread with the characteristics and appearance of wool, giving a hand-crafted look, ideal for creating soft, fluffy or textured designs, such as animal fur. Treat yourself to this fantastic kit, which also includes cotton embroidery thread plus specially designed needles and embroidery designs.

The 30 furry friends on the design CD are fun to embroider and it is so easy to give them the unique Lana soft, fluffy texture by gently brushing the design with the MADEIRA Lana brush. For outlines and detail use Cotona No.30. It will not fluff but can enhance the balance of the design.

The recommended needle is size 110/18 to support the thickness of Lana No. 12.
